Although local processes and surgical preferences may vary considerably from each individual, you will work with a prosthetist who is trained in the design, fabrication, and fitting of prosthetic limbs. We have found that talking through your goals and concerns with your prosthetist enables them to address your specific needs. Your prosthetist will work closely with your physician and rehab team to monitor your health and help ensure you are meeting your goals.

What's Right for You?
External breast prostheses are used to replace the anatomical breast after removal through mastectomy. They are typically worn in conjunction with a specialized bra containing a pouch that maintains the proper anatomical position of the external breast prosthesis.
